412 – The Creation of Man (How)

COURSE:  BIBLE SURVEY I LESSON # 12
THE CREATION OF MAN (HOW)

INTRODUCTION:

1. The issue before us answers to a subtle attack on the doctrine of creation.
2. That is, the teaching that God created through the process of evolution (usually random mutation).
3. This is, in fact, a covert denial of any real act of creation.
4. Theistic evolution; i.e., God created the first tiny cell and endued it with purposeless power by which it spiraled upward to become man.

I. IMPLICATIONS OF THE DOCTRINE

1. Limits God in His power to create a specific being.
2. It makes the Genesis account vague, as to time, dominion, and time relationship to other animal life.
3. It has life in man long preceding the image of God, (contrary to the Genesis account).
4. It denies the clear words of Jesus Christ. “From the beginning of creation, God made them male and female.” (Read Mk. 10:5,8)

II. BIBLICAL REASONS FOR HOLDING TO DIRECT CREATION (GEN. 1 AND 2)

1. The time of man’s creation (in the beginning) in Gen. 1 and 2.
2. The method of man’s creation (of dust, in God’s image).
3. The method of woman’s creation (from a rib, the same day, in the beginning). (Gen. 1, Mk. 10:6)
4. The biblical revelation of the manner of the beginning of the human race, one man, one woman.
5. The original state and fall of man, (he went down, not up, according to Scripture).
6. Biblical revelation of persistence of “kinds” of life, “they brought forth after their own kind.”

III. SCIENTIFIC REASONS FOR HOLDING TO DIRECT CREATION

To see the falsehood of evolution is to see the merits of creationism, the only conceivable alternative, thus let us observe:

1. Evolutionists have no evidence that protozoa has or indeed can become metazoa (hear on tape).
2. Evolutionists cannot explain why body cells of each species are different (the Bible explains).
3. Evolutionists cannot prove, or even explain the method for transmu­tation, from one family to another.
4. Evolutionists cannot explain why certain forms of life show no evolution.
5. Evolutionists cannot explain regression, instead of progress, (the­rmodynamically entropy).

IV. SCIENTIFIC HOAXES PROVE THAT EVOLUTIONISTS KNOW THEY LACK EVIDENCE

1. The false method used in explaining the order of strata.
2. The method for determining required time.
3. The present placement of strata today.
4. The “youngest” and “oldest” fossils are mingled.
5. The blending of “successive strata” shows no time lapse.
6. The “extinct” species which are still here.
7. Indications of sediment formation, by flood, and not normal erosion.
8. Evidence of violent sudden death in fossils.
9. Coal formations indicate quick, violent action, not slow eroding effect.
